Alumimesh shade tarps(85% shade factor) are made from Alumimesh-a knitted, highly reflective, aluminized fabric that reflects out unwanted heat, radiation, and light, and that does not absorb any heat itself. In addition, the open-knitting construction allows excellent air flow. 85% Alumimesh acts like a mirror during summer months, providing unwanted light reflection and the result is a cooler climate by up to comfortable degree.
Alumimesh is a special knitted shade cloth made from metallized HDPE. The fibers are produced from mono-oriented HDPE, giving the fiber durability and longevity. After an aluminum metallization process, the films are covered with a special anti-oxidation aluminium coating. The shade cloths is knitted into a precise uniform texture.
Due to superior reflect ability and light weight of Alumimesh, it is also the perfect cloth to cover the inside or outside of a greenhouse instead of standard black shade cloth; it does not absorb the heat and have functions of both shades and cools the greenhouse. Much lighter in weight than standard shade cloth, Alumimesh is easy and quick to install.
